Gary is a proud native of Florida, where he was born and raised. Growing up in a rural community instilled in him a deep appreciation for hard work, integrity, and service—values that would later shape his distinguished legal career. His passion for law and justice led him to pursue higher education at the University of South Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. His academic journey at USF solidified his interest in the legal field, motivating him to continue his studies at one of the nation’s top advocacy schools.

Building upon his strong academic foundation, Gary attended Stetson University College of Law, a prestigious institution renowned for its rigorous legal training and outstanding advocacy programs. During his time at Stetson, Gary demonstrated exceptional leadership as President of the Federal Bar Association Student Chapter, furthering his commitment to legal excellence. His leadership in this capacity further strengthened his skills in advocacy, communication, and legal analysis.

While in law school, Gary sought to gain practical experience beyond the classroom, securing highly competitive internships that provided him with invaluable hands-on legal training. He interned with the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division, where he had the opportunity to observe federal court proceedings firsthand, conduct legal research, and assist in drafting judicial opinions. Additionally, he gained further experience at the United States Attorney’s Office, Civil Division, where he worked on complex civil litigation cases involving government interests. These opportunities allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the judicial system and refine his skills in litigation and advocacy—experiences that would serve as the foundation for his future legal career.

After years of rigorous academic training and practical experience, Gary was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1999, marking the beginning of a distinguished career in law. Over the past two decades, he has built a strong reputation as a skilled and knowledgeable attorney, particularly in the areas of wills, trusts, and estates, as well as probate and real estate law. His practice is centered around helping individuals and families navigate complex legal matters with professionalism, integrity, and a client-focused approach. He serves as a professor at Pasco-Hernando State College, where he teaches law courses in the Paralegal Program. Outside of his legal career, Gary is an avid adventurer who thrives in the great outdoors. A passionate cyclist, he has achieved an extraordinary milestone in the world of bikepacking, earning the prestigious Samurai Cross—a distinction awarded to those who complete Florida’s “Triple Crown” of endurance cycling. This remarkable feat involved conquering the grueling Cross Florida ITT, Huracan, and Florida Divide routes, each of which presents extreme physical and mental challenges, demanding endurance, resilience, and perseverance. These multi-day, off-road cycling routes test even the most seasoned riders, requiring navigation through rugged terrains, unpredictable weather conditions, and remote wilderness areas.
